The eBay listings rescan automatically every hour, and anything that no longer clears 50% off is removed within the hour. Amazon Picks don't have an automated feed to rescan, so those prices and coupons are re-checked by hand rather than on a fixed schedule.
What qualifies a deal for the page?
A real 50% off or more against the seller's own original listing, confirmed at verification time, no matter how few units are in stock or how small the seller. Fake countdown timers, coupon-only "discounts" presented as the listed price, and inflated reference prices are the kinds of things that disqualify a listing, not seller size.
