Model number in the listing matches the brand's real line: a quick search of the exact model number (e.g. “TB507-BGRYSLV51”) on the brand's own site or a retailer that carries it confirms it's a real SKU, not a placeholder.
Return policy stated on the listing: eBay's Money-Back Guarantee covers you either way, but a seller who also offers their own returns is a good sign.
Actual listing photos, not stock brand photography: if every photo is a glossy studio shot with no listing-specific angle, that's worth a second look.
