I use Prime myself, and writing this guide made me look at my own account properly for the first time. Audible Deals: Audiobooks for the Drive, the Gym and the Dishes

Audible is Amazon's audiobook service. Its standard membership gives you one audiobook of your choice every month, yours to keep, plus unlimited access to Audible's podcasts. Titles stay in your library even if you cancel.

Kindle Unlimited Subscription: A Library in Your Pocket

Kindle Unlimited is Amazon's ebook subscription. It gives you unlimited reading from more than 5 million digital titles, including best sellers, popular series and classics. It also includes thousands of audiobooks and a selection of magazines. You can read on a Kindle, your phone, a tablet or a computer, so you don't need a Kindle device.

It's $11.99 a month. Amazon's sign-up page is titled as a free trial offer, and the trial length varies, so check it there before you start.

Prime members also get Prime Reading, a smaller rotating selection of ebooks and magazines. If you run through that quickly, Kindle Unlimited is the step up.

Kindle Unlimited vs Audible: Which One Should You Try?

They sound similar, but they solve different problems. Kindle Unlimited is a reading subscription with a huge library you read on any screen. Audible is a listening membership where you pick one audiobook a month and keep it.
