The picks
We all know how it goes. Halloween is almost here, and suddenly, you realize you still need a costume. If that’s you right now, don’t panic. I rounded up a few costume ideas to help you figure out your Halloween look without spending a fortune. Every pick was 50% off or more when I checked, because last-minute costumes don’t have to mean full-price shopping. Most of these can reach you before Halloween, or on October 31 itself, with Prime shipping.
The picks

Part 7
A costume bought in a hurry still needs a few checks. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advises wearing a costume that fits and skipping overly long or baggy pieces, which can cause trips and falls. It also says the eye and nose holes in a mask should allow full visibility and adequate breathing, and that makeup may be a safer alternative to a mask. If you want that option, see our makeup deals. For trick-or-treating after dark, the agency suggests reflective tape on costumes and a flashlight or glow stick.
